The Shocking Truth About Seanol
Not enough energy?
Are you exhausted when you wake up in the morning? You feel like you didn’t get a good night’s sleep and it’s impossible to get your brain going. Your joints and muscles ache and you’re wondering how much longer until the weekend. Unfortunately, it’s only Tuesday.
You’ve tried the so-called “energy drinks”, but you know so much sugar and caffeine can’t be good for you. Not to mention, if you drink them too close to bedtime, you stay awake all night.
Between not having enough energy during the day and not getting enough quality sleep at night, you’re facing your very own energy crisis.
Where does it end?
Maybe this problem all started because you’re simply too busy. Between work getting more demanding and quality family time decreasing, you don’t have enough energy to take care of it all.
You are tired all the time, and you really don’t have the energy to exercise.
What if you had enough healthy energy to jump start your body and got a good night’s sleep?
Can Seanol Help?
What if you could wake up every morning ready to get your work done and at the end of the day still have energy to enjoy quality time with your family?
When you are at work, you have enough focus to get through the day. After lunch, you’re able to get back to work and work on the task at hand.
Since you are sleeping better, your mood improves and your stress levels go down.
Seanol, the “super antioxidant”, may be able to help.
What is Seanol?
Seanol comes from a rare algae found on a plant called Ecklonia Cava which is found in the North Pacific ocean. The algae has been called a “superfood” and contains a powerful antioxidant that provides many health benefits. Dr. Haengwoo Lee, a Korean biochemist, has received over $30 million to research the amazing properties of Seanol.
Seanol is a Powerful Antioxidant
The following bar chart uses the Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) values to compare the antioxidant levels of different foods. The ORAC is a scale by which antioxidants can be compared to one another. The higher the number, the more powerful the antioxidant.
As you can see from the bar chart below, Seanol is over three times stronger than the powerful land-based antioxidants.
ORAC Bar Chart
Okay, so now we know Seanol is a super antioxidant that fights free radicals. Based on the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) score, Seanol really shows its strength. This ORAC scale actually puts a number to its antioxidant capacity. Since Seanol is fat soluble, it has a much longer life in the body than plant-based antioxidants. It can last 12 hours instead of the 30 minutes of plant-based antioxidants. What this really translates to is Seanol hangs around in the body for a full 24 times longer to do its free-radical scavenging work.
What else is Seanol good for?
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Some research has been done on its ability to reduce the pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis within 30 minutes. It is reported to help regenerate cartilage and even help prevent arthritis in middle aged women.
The Heart
When it comes to the heart, Seanol has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It may also increase the good type (HDL) cholesterol levels. It is said to improve blood circulation and maintain flexible blood vessels.
A study was performed where researchers gave Seanol to 39 adults with the average age of 55. The study lasted for 6 weeks and the results were interesting. At the end their good HDL cholesterol rose from 46.5 to 50.7 percent. This is uncommon for a supplement to perform so well.
More Energy, Better Sleep
It seems to me that these benefits alone make Seanol an obvious choice for those with high cholesterol or arthritis, but studies have shown that it can also increase energy levels by 71%. What does that really mean?
Here is an example that may explain the numbers better. During an 8-week study, Seanol reduced the time it took participants to fall asleep by 47 minutes. It increased the amount of nighttime sleep by 1.6 hours and improved the sleep quality by 80%.
Allergies
Where I live it seems like something is always blooming. That is great, but between the grasses, flowers, trees, and everything else, my allergies are almost always driving me crazy. I’ve tried taking antihistamines and they work, but leave me feeling half-asleep and “drugged”. That’s why one of my personal favorite things about Seanol is that it may help reduce allergy symptoms without the unwanted side effects (drowsiness, etc.) of an antihistamine.
Brain
Seanol is also said to have benefits for the brain. It is reported to improve short-term memory (now what was I talking about?) and improve mental focus and acuity. It does this by boosting alpha brains waves and it inhibits beta-amyloid brain plaque from forming. “Your memory is dependent on the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (ACh). In lab tests, Seanol increased rodent ACh by 140% in brain regions responsible for learning and memory. And it did this after just 7 days of treatment! ”
